Meet "Milly" - the Cranky Knitter!
Join us on Saturday, May 30th as we welcome Cat Montgomery and “Milly” to our studio! Cat hails from Nova Scotia and has an extensive background as a knitter and craftsperson. She comes by it naturally as her parents owned a yarn shop in Dartmouth.
Cat will be giving a demo with “Milly”, her beloved antique sock knitting machine. Milly is well over 100 years old and still happily cranks out sock tubes. Cat will show you how to cast on, knit and cast off sock tubes, more commonly known as “sock snakes”. You can even try a crank or two!
