This is truly the simplest sock pattern you will find! If you know basic knit and purl stitches, SSK, K2Tog or P2Tog, and M1L and M1R, you have all the skills you need to make your very first pair of socks. These knit up in a worsted weight wool on a 4mm (US#6) set of double-pointed needles or 2 circular needles. I have also included in the pattern some hints, technique tips and links to a couple of my YouTube videos that you may find helpful.
