This beautifully soft, water resistant and toasty warm yet quite light weight wool comes from Icelandic lambs raised on a small farm right here in Prince Edward Island. This is from their lambs' first shearing – and when it’s gone, it’s gone until next lambing season! Approximately 100 yards (91 meters) to a 3.5 oz (100 gram) skein. Please note - the natural white is spun a little finer at 114 yards (104 meters) to a 3.5 oz (100 gram) skein. We also have a small selection of wool from 3 adult ewes in creamy grey, light grey and dark grey. All are 3.5 oz (100 grams) and have 150, 130 and 110 yards respectively.
